Rita Davenport, Business Leader, Award-Winning Keynote Speaker, Humorist, and Author, was recently selected Top Keynote Speaker and Humorist 2024 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

Ms. Davenport is an internationally recognized expert in the principles of success, time management, goal-setting, creative thinking, and self-esteem and confidence. Ms. Davenport’s careers range from social work and teaching to broadcasting and writing. She has been featured in People magazine, the Wall Street Journal, SUCCESS, People, Networking Times, Working at Home, and other national business magazines. She spent 15 years developing and hosting a highly-regarded television program in Phoenix, Arizona, which reached over 32 million households through her cable show “Success Strategies.” She has also appeared as a guest on more than 200 radio and television shows, including ABC’s Good Morning America, NBC’s The Today Show, Lifestyles with Regis Philbin, and The Sally Jesse Raphael Show.
Rita Davenport has an impressive repertoire of previous roles. She was a trailblazer in personal development infomercials, creating two incredibly popular programs in the late eighties centered around her audio programs, It’s Time for You and Laugh Your Way to Success, reaching over 32 million households. She became President of Arbonne International, a personal care products company, in 1991. During her twenty-year tenure, Arbonne saw significant expansion and acclaim in the direct sales sector with Rita as President. Sales went from $9 million a year to almost $1 billion dollars in annual sales and over a million independent representatives.
Before embarking on her career path, Rita earned a B.S. degree from Middle Tennessee State University…with graduate studies at Florida State University and Arizona State University. She was Honored with a Distinguished Alumnus Award from Middle Tennessee State University.
Throughout her illustrious career, Rita Davenport has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she will be considered for the Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at Nashville’s magnificent Opryland Hotel this December for her selection as Top Keynote Speaker and Humorist 2024.
Additional honors include but are not limited to, the following…Rita received the Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) and Council of Peers Award of Excellence (CPAE), an award earned by less than 2% of the National Speaker’s Association members. She has received recognition for various remarkable accomplishments, including being elected to the Speakers Hall Of Fame, winning the 2001 Spirit of Philanthropy Award, inducted into the Arizona Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame, consistently acknowledged by the Sojourner Center for valuable contributions in the fight against domestic violence, honored as the Outstanding Young Woman of the Year and Arizona Woman of the Year, as well as being inducted into the Hall of Fame for Network Marketing.
Aside from her successful career, Ms Davenport is a National Speakers Association charter member listed in the NSA Hall of Fame. She has shared the speakers’ platform with well-known individuals such as Tony Robbins, John Maxwell, Erma Bombeck, Les Brown, Jack Canfield, Dr. Wayne Dyer, Mark Victor Hansen, Tom Hopkins, Og Mandino, Denis Waitley, and Zig Ziglar. She has delivered over 1,000 seminars worldwide and worked as a management consultant for Fortune 500 companies.
