FLAME Lights Up St. Pete at Its Chanukah Celebration to Remember

Over 115 Guests Gather for a Night of Tradition, Laughter, and Festive Fun

St. Petersburg, Florida – The Chabad Jewish Center of St. Petersburg’s highly anticipated FLAME event lit up Downtown St. Pete like never before! The event was held on Saturday, December 28th at the Savant on Second. This annual Chanukah party brought together Jewish young professionals for a night of connection, tradition, and celebration that exceeded all expectations.

With over 115 enthusiastic attendees, FLAME was a vibrant and dynamic evening filled with energy, laughter, and tradition. The celebration began with the ceremonial Grand Menorah Lighting, a moment that embodied the spirit of unity and Jewish pride. Jay Feldman of Otter PR a.k.a LeadGen Jay kindled the menorah’s four candles, while The Jac Smith Group had the honor of lighting the Shamash, the helper candle, a symbol of generosity and support. Together, these moments set the stage for a truly special night of community and celebration.

The festivities continued with a variety of experiences that kept the fun flowing all night long. Guests indulged in delicious latkes from the Fresh Latke Station, where creative toppings like Margarita, Sababa, and the Delicious Majestic elevated this Chanukah staple to new heights. At the open bar, signature cocktails such as the “Dizzy Dreidel” added a festive twist, while the Epic Dreidel Tournament brought out everyone’s playful, competitive side. Adding to the night’s excitement was the Ugly Chanukah Sweater Contest, where attendees showed off their most outrageous holiday attire, filling the room with creativity and laughter. A dessert bar overflowing with fresh jelly donuts provided the perfect sweet ending to an already incredible evening.

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Lebovics, the driving force behind FLAME, expressed his joy and pride in the event: “This night is all about having fun, celebrating Chanukah with friends, and meeting new people. It’s incredible to see so many young Jewish professionals come together to share in this special tradition. If you’re a Jewish young professional in St. Pete, FLAME is the place to be!”

The enthusiasm from attendees was undeniable, with lots of feedback after the event. Messages like “Most fire party ever,” “So much fun,” and “An incredible event once again!” captured the overwhelming excitement and joy felt by everyone in attendance. It was a night filled with meaningful connections, festive cheer, and unforgettable memories, further solidifying the strength and unity of the Chabad Young Professionals (CYP) community in St. Petersburg.
