Serving as the Director of Development and Operations under her direction from 2006 to 2013, World of Hearts provided vital services and support to help numerous families and people restore stability, turning the organization into a ray of hope for countless others. Using her vast background in both the nonprofit and commercial sectors, Sadiqa maintains her objective of empowering communities and organizations in her role as Executive Director of Genevieve Group LLC.

World of Hearts: Achievements and Transformative Effects (From 2006 to 2013)

Under the leadership of Sadiqa Sakin, World of Hearts, which was established with the goal of bridging the gap between government aid and financial difficulties, gave families and individuals in need vital support. To highlight how athletics and community service can work together to combat hunger and food insecurity, during an eight-game season throughout Snohomish County, 40% of the proceeds were donated to nearby food shelters.

4. Contribution to ACT-SO Program Between 2008-2011

Under her leadership, World of Hearts also participated in the ACT-SO Program, taking on project management, grant writing, and fundraising responsibilities. The nonprofit also worked on the Clean Water Wells Project in Ghana, Africa, in 2008, which included countries like Liberia. 

5. Volunteer Work with the Snohomish County YMCA 2010-2012

Sadiqa donated her time to tutor minority children in mathematics and science from 2010 to 2012 through the Snohomish County YMCA My Achiever Program (MAP). Her dedication to empowering adolescents via education made it possible for these kids to acquire the abilities and information required for success in the future.
