“Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume 2,” praised for its evocative imagery and timeless tales, captures the spirit of the Keystone State and has drawn comparisons to legendary storytellers like Mark Twain and Washington Irving.

Sunbury Press is proud to announce that Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume 2, authored by Jeffrey R. Frazier, has been honored with the Literary Titan Gold Book Award. This esteemed award celebrates books that demonstrate exceptional storytelling and engaging prose.

In Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume 2, Frazier invites readers to journey back to a time when storytelling was a cherished tradition in the mountains of the Keystone State. The anthology preserves Pennsylvania’s treasured folklore — tales of ghosts, witches, Native American lore, highwaymen, hunters, and wolves — capturing the spirit of a bygone era when stories were shared by the fireside on cold winter nights.

The Literary Titan review praises the book, describing it as a “delightful anthology that captures the heart and soul of Pennsylvania, a state often considered America’s heartland.” The review highlights Frazier’s storytelling skills, comparing him to literary greats like Mark Twain and Washington Irving, stating: “This collection of folk tales… evokes the spirit of classic American storytellers… Frazier skillfully brings to life the hardy souls who form the backbone of this region — blue-collar workers who take pride in an honest day’s work, and whose stories are as enduring as the land they till.”

The evocative imagery and carefully curated folklore have earned Frazier praise for rekindling the magic of storytelling and honoring Pennsylvania’s cultural heritage. Literary Titan singled out stories like Haunts of the Highway for their gripping and timeless appeal, adding: “In a world that often seems to have lost its sense of wonder, Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume 2 is a refreshing reminder of the magic that still exists in the stories passed down through generations.”

Pennsylvania Fireside Tales Volume 2 offers readers a vivid tapestry of Pennsylvania’s history, culture, and imagination. Through these pages, Frazier transports readers to an earlier time, preserving a rich storytelling tradition that continues to captivate and inspire.
