November 29th, 2024 – This year, the NoHo Arts District will transform into a punk paradise as The 8th Annual LA Punk Film Festival rolls out a festival like no other, combining punk films, bold brews, and a truly offbeat lineup of events including music from the films live performances. Celebrating the spirit of independence and the heart of punk culture, this unique film festival promises an unforgettable experience that blends cinema, creativity, and community in the heart of North Hollywood’s vibrant arts scene.
Cinema Meets Craft Beer in the Heart of NoHo At Lawless Brewery, audiences will savor the ultimate combination of cinema and craft brews. Alongside screenings of raw, rebellious, and daring punk films, festival-goers will have a chance to sample exclusive new beer premieres brewed specially for the event. Each pour brings the intensity and attitude that punk embodies, making this more than just a film festival — it’s a full-sensory immersion into the punk ethos. LA’s favorite food trucks will be on premise as well as a red carpet photo opps.
A Lineup Full of Surprises: Punk Pet Costume Contest & More This isn’t just a festival; it’s a celebration of punk in all its forms. Festival highlights include a one-of-a-kind Punk Pet Costume Contest, where attendees can bring their pets decked out in mohawks, leather, and studs for a chance to steal the spotlight. Paws and claws are invited to join the rebellion, adding a unique twist that invites everyone (furry friends included) to join the fun and get 10% off their check.
Raise a Glass and Join the Awards Celebration The festival’s pinnacle moment will be the Punk Film Awards Show hosted by Playmate Carrie Stevens with guest presenters — a lively celebration of the genre’s boldest creators and the stories that define punk culture.
