Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research Appoints New Global Peace Ambassadors

Her Highness Dr. Antonia Zu Schaumburg-Lippe and her son, His Highness Prince Dr. Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, invited as guests of honor

NEW YORK – November 21, 2024 – The Institute of Public Policy, and Diplomacy Research, (IPPDR) leaders in peacebuilding training and peace education mentorship, today announced the appointment of new Global Peace Ambassadors. The Platinum Humanitarian Leadership Award Ceremony, held at the United Nations Delegates Dining Room, was organized under the distinguished leadership of Ambassador Dr. Andrise Bass, Founder and Executive Director of both the Humanitarian Focus Foundation and the Institute of Public Policy and Diplomacy Research.

The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests of honor, Her Highness Dr. Antonia Zu Schaumburg-Lippe and her son, His Highness Prince Dr. Mario-Max Schaumburg-Lippe, who support leaders in peacebuilding training and peace education. The ceremonial diplomacy of the awards presentations and introductions of international dignitaries was augmented by commentary from global event producer, Lexye Aversa, who emceed the proceedings with dignity and elegance.

Esteemed dignitaries, ambassadors, and senior government officials joined dedicated doctors, nurses, civil society leaders, and rising youth innovators, united in the commitment to fostering sustainable peace in alignment with UN Charter and H.R. 1111, the Department of Peacebuilding Act introduced in 2021.

Princess Dr. Antonia Zu Schaumburg-Lippe shared, “The Global Peace Program is a testament to our shared humanity. Through it, each of us becomes a steward of compassion, dialogue, and unity. Together, we can create a world where peace is an ideal and a lived reality for all.”

The IPPDR announced that its next leadership and diplomatic protocol training will be held in March of 2025. Attendees will study Eloquent Leadership and Diplomatic Protocol, and “essential in foreign relations to lead with integrity, communicate with intention, and build lasting relationships grounded in mutual respect and shared values,” according to Ambassador Dr. Andrise Bass.

The newly appointed ambassadors are ready to accept leadership roles with a comprehensive focus on conflict prevention and crisis management, global peace advocacy, human rights advocacy, mental health support and awareness and international conflict prevention and nonviolent intervention.
