Lloyds Capital Chairman Mike Pompeo expressed strong optimism about the partnership with Locus Chain and Creta.

On September 25th, 2024, Lloyds Capital hosted a high-profile event in New York City, highlighting “the world’s most scalable blockchain,  Locus Chain,” and the “groundbreaking Web3 ecosystem, Creta.” The event attracted global leaders, entrepreneurs, and financiers. Presentations by SangYoon Lee (Locus Chain), Ray Nakazato (Creta), Thomas Vu (Creta), and Hyuk-il Kwon (Naver) received enthusiastic feedback. Major entities like SK Group, Naver, Lloyds Capital, Republic, AllianceBernstein, Bankai Group, and the UN committed to exploring collaborations with Locus Chain and Creta to drive innovation and societal impact.

Lloyds Capital, a global investment firm led by Mike Pompeo, includes a team of influential figures such as Marik String, former U.S. State Department General Counsel; Christopher Yoshida, former CFO of Northern Data and current CEO of Pinetree Partners; David Malpass, former World Bank Group Founder and board member; Chalid Arrab, Founder of Lloyds Group; and Bulent Aksu, former Deputy Finance Minister of Turkey.

Locus Chain and Creta partnered with Lloyds Capital to establish a $1 billion Creta ecosystem fund for global business development. 

The event, moderated by Evan Klassen, Founder of One Humanity and Vice President of Creta, included over 60 global leaders such as Rochel Bernstein, NFL’s Michael Spanos, Ideanomics CEO Shane McMahon, UN Ambassador David Sanchez, Naver Co-founder Hyuk-il Kwon, SK’s Sang-kyu Kang, and Bankim Brahmbatt. Attendees expressed strong support for Locus Chain and Creta, discussing future collaborations.

In his welcome address, Mike Pompeo, Chairman of Lloyds Capital, expressed enthusiasm for partnering with Locus Chain and Creta, praising their groundbreaking technology and vision. He highlighted Locus Chain and Creta as key platforms for overcoming future industry challenges.

Dr. Young-bae Moon emphasized Locus Chain’s critical role in the AI industry due to its speed and scalability, ideal for managing data and enhancing AI development. Attendees recognized its potential to address AI concerns and advance the ecosystem.

Thomas Vu, former Executive Producer of League of Legends and now CIO of Creta, introduced Creta’s multiverse and superclub concept as a next-generation “spatial community” model. 

Ray Nakazato, Creta’s Chief Creative Officer and former Microsoft game producer, shared a vision for simplifying content development with AI and reducing server costs using Locus Chain. His model blurs the lines between developers and users, enabling limitless content creation and investment, and garnered significant attention from the audience.

Hyuk-il Kwon, Naver co-founder and chairman of HappyBean Foundation, introduced Quavatar, an AI avatar system to be integrated into Creta, and presented the GiveFy project, a global donation initiative, attracting strong interest, especially from UN representatives, excited about GiveFy’s potential to boost contributions and benefits.

Republic, the largest Web3 venture capital firm in the U.S., committed to building a Web3 ecosystem with Locus Chain and Creta. Bankai Group’s leaders also expressed plans to partner with them to create India’s largest gaming platform.
