K-Beauty Hair Loss Product Arivie Gains Popularity in Vietnam

Korean hair care brand ‘Arivie’ announced on the 25th that its products, which began selling in Vietnam in July, have been receiving positive feedback and strong sales.

Arivie, a Korean hair care company, started exporting its products to Vietnam’s leading plastic surgery hospital, Gangwhoo Plastic Surgery Hospital, in July. Following this, the products have been rapidly gaining popularity on Vietnam’s leading shopping site, Shopee, with excellent customer reviews since July.

Arivie’s hair care was developed by Tae-eun Kim, a hair designer with 26 years of experience, who was inspired to create effective yet gentle hair products after seeing colleagues develop skin issues from frequent shampoo use. After six months of research at a comprehensive hospital dermatology department in Korea, the products achieved a scalp irritation score of 0 and a user satisfaction rate of 91%. The products are also registered as functional hair loss prevention products in Korea and have received the highest rating from the EWG Green Certification in the United States.

The products have also been selected as the official hair care products at Gangwhoo Plastic Surgery Hospital in Vietnam after passing tests by the hospital’s doctors.

Ingredients such as shikakai, known for its benefits to hair in India, and coconut-based surfactants were carefully chosen to maximize effectiveness while minimizing harmful substances.

Arivie plans to expand its market reach beyond Vietnam to Hong Kong, India, and other Southeast Asian markets, as well as other international markets.

Meanwhile, Arivie is scheduled to participate in the 2024 China Hong Kong Asia Beauty Expo (Cosmoprof-Asia), which will be held in Hong Kong from November 13 to 15, showcasing leading beauty companies from around the world.
