SignatureAPI Launches, Enabling Seamless Integration of Electronic Signatures into Apps and Platforms
General availability comes after successful worldwide public beta—providing an intuitive, user-friendly signing experience

SAN FRANCISCO – September 11, 2024 – SignatureAPI has launched, enabling the seamless integration of electronic signatures into applications and platforms. The software’s general availability comes on the heels of a successful worldwide public beta that had businesses and non-profits across four continents integrating electronic signatures into their workflows.

SignatureAPI solves a problem that has long affected software makers and companies that want to integrate electronic signatures into their apps and workflows. Integrating signatures simplifies the signing process for users and enhances overall efficiency, but executing the integration has typically been a cumbersome process. SignatureAPI addresses this problem with a flexible, easy-to-use application programming interface (API) and a low- or no-code integration capability.

The company is also changing the economics of digital signature integration with a cost-effective alternative to incumbents like DocuSign API, Adobe Sign API, and Dropbox Sign API. These companies charge more than $1 per envelope (electronic signature transaction). In contrast SignatureAPI cuts customer costs by 90%, with the identical service available now for just 10 cents per envelope. This pricing model is well suited to organizations that manage high volumes of signed documents, e.g., real estate firms, law firms, etc.

Victor Perl, CEO of Signature API, Inc. explained, “We found that for a lot of companies, paying $1 per signature didn’t make sense, so they ended up building their own solutions. But e-signatures are quite technical, and most of those in-house systems didn’t fully comply with e-signature regulations.”

SignatureAPI’s beta users praised the software’s clean, well-documented API. The application was designed with developers in mind, with beta users remarking on its ease of implementation, integration, and scale. “During our beta, we got a lot of love from developers, lawyers, and managers,” said Perl. “Developers loved the clear documentation, ease of use, and flexibility of our API. Lawyers loved the templates and audit logs. Managers loved the price.” The company follows through with help and direct support from the same engineers who built the product.

Key features in Signature

API include Embedded Signing, which seamlessly integrates electronic signatures apps and platforms; Document Templates, which dynamically generate documents from templates, automating workflows and saving time; and, Languages & Localization, which involve tailoring the signing interface to match users’ preferences with customizable languages, date-time formats, and time zones.
