Toronto, ON, Canada – August 27, 2024 – Zevrix Solutions today announces the release of LinkOptimizer 6.2.2, a compatibility update to company’s image workflow automation solution for Adobe InDesign. LinkOptimizer liberates InDesign users from mundane and time-consuming tasks by simplifying complex image manipulation processes that involve precise InDesign link replacement after editing in Photoshop.

The new update adds support for the highly anticipated macOS 15 Sequoia, currently offered as a public beta by Apple. The update is offered free of charge to licensed users of LinkOptimizer.

“LinkOptimizer makes me extremely happy”, says Nynke Tiekstra, the owner of design studio ColtsfootMedia in Friesland, Netherlands, “It converted 10000 images in a 1800 pages InDesign project saving us at least 40 hours work, and it proved to be 100% accurate.”

LinkOptimizer works with Photoshop to remove redundant image data from InDesign links, convert image formats, and perform essential image adjustments such as color conversion and sharpening. For example, this powerful tool enables users to effortlessly:

Process multiple InDesign files and books automatically

-Scale and crop images to precisely match their dimensions in InDesign

-Change their resolution to 300 ppi

-Convert RGB images to specific CMYK profile

Convert HEIC to TIFF

-Flatten images

-Execute a Photoshop action on each image.

As a result, users can free substantial disk space and countless hours spent on manual image optimization; reduce job turnaround times; accelerate document output; and ultimately cut costs through expedited processing.

Pricing and Availability:

LinkOptimizer can be purchased from Zevrix website for US$259.95 (Lite version: $179.95) as well as from Adobe Exchange and authorized resellers. Trial is also available for download. The update is free for LinkOptimizer 6.x users and $130 to upgrade from previous versions. LinkOptimizer requires macOS 10.12-15.x and Adobe InDesign / Photoshop CS6-2024.
