Hanna Supetran’s latest creation – a triptych called “Cosmic Alignment” – made its debut at the 75th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Philippines and Thailand, alongside the celebration of the 126th Anniversary of Philippine Independence and Nationhood, an event hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Bangkok, Thailand. It was held at the Chadra Ballroom of Siam Kempinski Bangkok Hotel last June 12, and featured a vibrant display of Filipino and Thai artistry and cultural performances.

Hanna created the art pieces for the special occasion. “Cosmic Alignment” is an articulation of the Divine Union of Divine Masculine & Divine Feminine, which commences “The Golden Age” – a period of peace, love, harmony, happiness and prosperity. The paintings highlight the artist’s talent in visual arts, and the reflects the level and consistency of her body of work. Hanna has garnered recognition internationally and has been selected as one of the 50 Contemporary Artists to Invest In – Guide to Investing Art for the past three years.

A special collection by renowned fashion designer Oliver Tolentino also took center stage, showcasing his exceptional designs and innovative use of Philippine and Thai fabric in modern renditions of haute-couture Filipiniana.

The event was attended by distinguished officials and members of the Diplomatic Corps, the Filipino community in Thailand, and esteemed friends of the Embassy. His Excellency Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, represented the Guest of Honor, His Excellency Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

It was an unforgettable evening that celebrated, and put front and center, the rich heritage and the strong ties that remain between the Philippines and Thailand.

About the Artist
Hanna Supetran an internationally-acclaimed, award-winning abstract artist, photographer, and a published poetess.
Hanna’s many exhibitions include those held in: Bangkok, Thailand; at Espacio Gallery in London; Pinter Gallery & Auction House in Budapest; the European Museum of Modern Art of Barcelona (MEAM); Gonzaga Museum in Mantua, Italy; and, the Meeting Art Gallery in Lisbon, Portugal.
She has also exhibited in public places held at the Madrid Station, 2023; Hongkong Central Station 2021; and at the Shibuya Train Station – 3rd Edition 2020, Tokyo, Japan.
