After the water well drilling rig leaves the factory, it is generally stipulated that there is a running-in period of about 60 hours (some are called the running-in period), which is stipulated according to the technical characteristics of the water well drilling rig in the early stage of use. However, at present, some users ignore the special technical requirements of the running-in period of the new drilling rig due to lack of common sense of use, tight construction period, or the desire to obtain benefits as soon as possible. The long-term overload use of the drilling rig during the running-in period leads to frequent early failures of the machine, which not only affects the normal use of the machine and shortens the service life of the machine, but also affects the progress of the project due to machine damage, which is not worth the loss in the end. Therefore, the use and maintenance of the water well drilling rig during the running-in period should be given full attention.
The characteristics of the running-in period are as follows:
1. Fast wear speed. Due to the influence of factors such as the processing, assembly and adjustment of new machine parts, its friction surface is rough, the contact area of the mating surface is small, and the surface pressure condition is uneven, which accelerates the wear of the mating surface of the parts.
2. Poor lubrication. Since the fit clearance of newly assembled parts is small, and it is difficult to ensure the uniformity of the fit clearance due to assembly and other reasons, it is not easy for lubricating oil (grease) to form a uniform oil film on the friction surface, thereby reducing the lubrication efficiency and causing early abnormal wear of the parts.
3. Loosening. Newly processed and assembled parts are easily affected by factors such as heat and deformation, and due to reasons such as excessive wear, the originally tightened parts are easily loosened.
4. Leakage. Due to the looseness, vibration and heat of the machine, the sealing surface and pipe joints of the machine will leak.
5. Operational errors. Due to insufficient understanding of the structure and performance of the machine, it is easy to cause failures due to operational errors, and even cause operational accidents.
