For over 30 years, hip-hop veteran Dangerous Devil stands out as a top hip-hop artist. He is one of the pioneering independent rappers from the State of Utah, where he created and released albums, mix tapes, and features on multiple projects with numerous platinum and gold artists. Dangerous Devil is notable for his relatable rap music sharing day-to-day life experiences. He writes and raps about the struggles we all deal with. The things we face in search of happiness in life. The struggles with depression. The struggles with money and health. Things we do to survive, overcome, and adapt to dire circumstances. The search for love and acceptance which is universal to humans.
Being at the top for three decades has seen Dangerous Devil evolve and adapt to the constantly changing music scene. An innate talent, he has mastered the music scene intricately releasing top tracks, among them “Fellow Patriots,” “City Lights,” “Life Is Hard,” and “Don’t be Afraid,” among dozens of others. Dangerous Devil’s biggest challenge was recovering from an accident in 2007 and 2012, the first of which nearly ended his life. With a strong mentality, he has been able to improvise, adapt, and overcome those massive challenges to not just survive but to come back to his passion: music.
The first quarter of 2024 is already a success for Dangerous Devil, a rapper on a mission to dominate the scene. The rapper has also promised his fanbase the release of “Ride of Die” featuring The Scronx & Jayohcee on March 29th, a highly anticipated project expected to take over the airwaves. To him, “Ride of Die” is a unique project borrowing from the classical 90’s old school Hip Hop and R&B vibe similar to his previous single “Don’t Be Afraid” which received an overwhelmingly positive public response. His single “Stay Fly” with Krizz Kaliko, will release next after “Ride Or Die”.
According to Dangerous Devil, the mission is to continuously serve his fans with classical hip-hop tunes that speak to their souls. This includes working on mega projects featuring notable rap names, including Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, and Gucci Mane. “One of my career goals is to have one of my singles or albums chart on billboard,” he says.
