Breaking Boundaries: Irene Ailin Wang’s Meteoric Rise in the Multidisciplinary Art World

Her solo exhibition, The Third Bank of the River, was on display at RIVAA Gallery from January 19-21, 2023. The exhibition showcased Wang’s journey through various life experiences, which were intricately woven into the themes of her work. The artist’s experience with constant movement and migration was evident, as she remarked, “Everything is flowing, nothing is stable. Migrating when I was a child, I have been moving all my life.” This notion of transience resonated throughout the exhibition, as Wang’s paintings evoked a sense of searching and yearning for stability.
