Kevin Harrington, the original “Shark” from the hit TV show Shark Tank, has returned to FOX Business with new episodes of Get Down to Business for the first time since 2020. Two new episodes of the show, which feature interviews with renowned entrepreneurs and business leaders, offer expert advice and an “under the hood” look at how top companies operate. These episodes focus particularly on financial resources and insights, and include an all-new “Authors to Watch” segment.
About the new episodes, Harrington said, “I get approached every day from people all over the world, and 99% of the time, they’re asking about money. ‘How do I raise capital for my business?’ ‘How can I maximize my financial potential?’ ‘What are some exciting new business opportunities I can get involved with?’ Well, my new episodes of Get Down to Business are answering a lot of these questions…”Kevin kicked off the first episode, aired on February 18th, 2023, with Michael Wildeveld of Veld Mergers & Acquisitions. Wildeveld covered his recently published his book, Exit on Your Terms – Expert Hacks to Get More, Keep More & Beat Private Equity at Their Own Game! The 20-year industry veteran discussed how 75% of business owners are unhappy with their transition, and how planning and strategy can help avoid that.
Harrington was then joined by Michael Blom, Partner, and Lee Melchionni, Attorney, from Lake Law Firm in New York City. Lake Law Firm helps business owners secure Employee Retention Tax Credits of up to $26,000 per full time W2 employee, working on a tax-deductible contingency fee that is only taken if there is a recovery.
Kevin also interviewed Gianna “G” Rahmani, bestselling author of DAY HUSTLE: Receive the Benefits of a DAY Job While You Grow Your Side HUSTLE. G created a revolutionary new phenomenon called “angel employment” through which entrepreneurs can get paid to grow their side hustle.
Dr. Aditya Nagrath, CEO and founder of Elephant Learning, joined Kevin to discuss their online mathematics academy, which teaches students ages 2 and up the language of mathematics so they can understand the teacher and participate in the classroom. Through their unique approach to learning, Dr. Nagrath said that students who go through Elephant Learning go from hating mathematics to loving the subject in just three months.
In Kevin’s “Authors to Watch” segment, he interviewed Bryce Boucher, bestselling author of the Jonster the Monster and the Bear trilogy. Bryce left the business world to begin writing when he was moved to create something inspiring for his son Geof, who was battling brain cancer. Bryce pays tribute to his son through this segment and his fantasy series, with new books being released in 2023.
To wrap up the episode, Kevin interviewed Adam Schwartz, founder of MerchantMarketplace.com, who explained how his company helps small businesses get funding quickly and easily.
Through these expert interviews and company highlights, Harrington provides viewers with valuable guidance and inspiration for their own entrepreneurial endeavors. Short segments mean quickly drilling into important topics, allowing for a breadth of experiences and ideas in each episode.
As Kevin puts it, “I really believe that viewers will get a ton of value out of just the 4 or 5 minutes of Q & A I spend with each of these guests on the show. Hearing from industry leaders and successful entrepreneurs is the true formula for creating your own wealth.”
The next episode of Get Down to Business airs on FOX Business at 4:30pm Eastern on Saturday February 25th. Individual segments are available on YouTube.
