Armadillo Studios has proudly announced the launch of an exciting new experimental short film project titled Speculum. The independent short film is created and directed by Milena Hübscher and is produced by Maura Horlacher. This one of a kind film has no dialogues and is centered around its main character Viktor, who lives in a state of fear when he realizes that he is beginning to feel detached from his body and constantly loses track of time. To release this film worldwide, Armadillo Studios has recently launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, and it is welcoming generous community support and backing.
“With zero dialogue, the story will put you in the place of Viktor who battles with the daily struggles that come with Derealization Syndrome, by using enhanced sound effects, grungy lighting and distressed art design.” Said Milena Hübscher, the film’s creator and director, while introducing this project to the Indiegogo community. Based out of Texas, Armadillo Studios is an accomplished group of film and music industry professionals on a collective mission to bring equitable representation into art and media.
