Key Highlights of Dalang Fashion Town
DaLang Fashion Town, the contest’s host, is increasingly recognized on the international fashion stage. With the initiatives such as the Shenzhen-Milan Lifestyle Week, Dalang has successfully integrated local characteristics with global fashion networks. It has also facilitated cultural exchanges with European fashion hubs, enabling Longhua brands and designers to showcase the unique charm of Oriental aesthetics worldwide.
Dalang is pioneering the digital transformation of fashion industry through its innovation center, enterprise collaborations, and government support. This includes hosting the Longhua Huawei Fashion Industry Digital Transformation Summit and establishing Shenzhen’s first modern fashion industry digital transformation promotion center.

The contest offers the following prestigious awards:
l Gold Medal(“Jinlang Award”): 1 recipient, 300,000 RMB
l Silver Medal(“Langchao Award”): 2 recipients, 200,000 RMB each
l Bronze Medal(“Langhua Award”): 3 recipients, 100,000 RMB each
l Excellence Awards for Outstanding Designers: 10 recipients, 10,000 RMB each
l Garment Production Subsidies: 5 recipients, 5,000 RMB each
l Outstanding College Organization Awards: Multiple recipients
l Excellent Instructor Awards: Multiple recipients
(All Monetary Awards are subject to a 20% personal income tax, which will be withheld and remitted by the organizing committee.)
In addition to the monetary awards, winning designers will receive promotion opportunities and industry matchmaking events, a special showcase of their designs during China Fashion Week, and the gold medal design will be featured on magazine covers with celebrity modeling.

How To Participate:
This contest is open to all fashion design enthusiasts, including professional designers, independent designers, design studios, and teachers and students from colleges and universities worldwide. Participants must submit original and unpublished works that reflect this year’s contest theme, align with the latest international fashion trends, and exhibit cultural depth and commercial value. Plagiarism or imitation will result in disqualification.
Submission Requirements:
Designs: 4 complete sets of women’s wear designs (2 creative designs + 2 commercial extensions), including color renderings and process structure drawings.
Specifications:27cm×40cm, either hand-drawn or computer-rendered, with a small fabric sample attached.
Description: Inspiration, design concepts, and key fashion elements.
