Anna Arapakos Releases Her New Book Connecting the Dots to a Rousing Response

Anna Arapakos is a retired school teacher and author. For her first two books, she wrote under the pseudonym Dimitria Christakis.

With her latest book release on Amazon, Connecting the Dots… An Unanticipated Journey of Finding Faith, renowned novelist and former high school teacher Anna Arapakos takes readers on a spiritual journey. Connecting the Dots… provides a unique window into a seeker’s heart and thinking as they progress toward faith. Anna connects her experiences with her Greek ancestry, her interest in theology, and her love of teaching as she vividly recounts her journey to redemption. The book is a testament to the strength of religion and self-discovery as much as it is a memoir.

“My acceptance of Christ was too essential not to document while the transformation was fresh,” Anna muses. “In order to enable readers to accompany me as I made the connections that ultimately lead to my faith, I wanted this book to convey the genuineness and unvarnished truth of my journey.”

Whether it’s Anna’s cultural observations, her theological insights, or her deep spiritual awakening, readers from all walks of life will find something to connect with in this book.

This intensely intimate collection, which was only released last month, examines the difficulties and emotional journey of taking care of her father as he fights Huntington’s disease (HD) and ages. To better understand how HD adversely impacted her father, she develops his character by sharing key moments of his life and aspects of his personality before HD manifested itself. Arapakos delves into the spiritual dimensions of caregiving, reflecting on the profound commitment to honoring her father. Both volumes are available on Amazon and are published under her real name, Anna Arapakos.
