The Greater EMC Chamber is proud to announce a new Director of Events and Marketing position with Ms. Tracie Kamenoff taking on the role to strengthen their value in the business community. Tracie will manage the planning and execution of Chamber events including monthly luncheons, breakfasts, and after-hours networking mixers. She will also manage the Chamber’s special events including an Annual Casino Night Extravaganza, Quarterly Leading Ladies Luncheons, Annual Golf Tournament, Annual Grand Prix Team-Building, and other signature events throughout the year.
“This is an important and big deal for us creating the new position,” says Chamber President and CEO Mark Linabury. “The Chamber strives to provide the very best member experiences at each event, from a simple registration process to an engaging and lively atmosphere. I believe Tracie is a perfect fit for this role. Her experience, personality, and skillset are just what we need for this position, especially in her marketing role. We are excited to welcome Tracie to our team!”
As Director of Events and Marketing, Tracie will also create and execute plans to promote the Chamber, its events, programs, and benefits through publications and social media.
Tracie will assume her new role in January 2025, and she brings enthusiasm for the Chamber’s mission. After serving on the Chamber’s Board of Directors and Diplomat Team, she is excited and ready with a comprehensive understanding already in place of Member expectations and needs and how the Chamber can step up and continue to add value and make a difference.“It means so much to me to be able to help strengthen the relationships and opportunities in our business community,” shares Tracie. “Raising a family in East Montgomery County has taught me the meaning of ‘It takes a village’. I can’t wait to join an already amazing team where we work together to improve the quality of business and life for everyone in EMC and the region we serve.”
Tracie has been an involved Chamber member for five years, with Decided Excellence Catholic Media, where she publishes Kingwood Catholic, Atascocita & Humble Catholic, and New Caney & Porter Catholic magazines, in addition to serving previously in her role as Business Development Director for Snapology of Kingwood. Before that, she served 10 years at Lone Star College-Kingwood as Student Services Director. She loves our community and is excited to be another friendly face to serve the Members of the Chamber.
