Tianquan Lake Tourist Resort is located in the southwest of Xuyi County, Huaian City, Jiangsu Province, known as the “Capital of Crayfish in China.” With rolling mountains and sparkling lakes, the landform of mountains surrounding the water here forms a unique microclimate environment, earning it the reputation of “Jiuzhaigou in Northern Jiangsu.”

From November to December each year, the lake scenery and mountain views complement each other beautifully. On the vast 9-square-kilometer lake surface, the Metasequoia and red cedar forests form a unique “water forest” landscape. Especially during autumn and winter, the lake is often shrouded in advection fog in the early morning, making rowing on the lake feel like being in a fairyland. After the thick fog dissipates, the lake reveals a colorful scene of “thousands of red trees covering the forest, with every layer of trees dyed in red hues.”
