Travelers from around the world are invited to visit sites dedicated to Dongpo heritage, taste the poet’s favorite foods, see immersive cultural performances, and discover how Su Dongpo continues to influence Hainan’s culture today.
The Legacy of a Literary Masters- The Treasure of Chinese Culture
International travelers, let’s go to Danzhou, the ancient county where Su Dongpo once lived for three years, and learn all about his legendary life at the Dongpo Academy. In Zhonghe Ancient Town, visit Dongpo related scenic spots such as the Dongpo Well and Guanglang Hut, and discover the story of this poet in exile. We will follow in Dongpo’s footprints through Hainan, visiting the Wugong Temple in Haikou, Luoyi Village in Chengmai, Sulai Village in Lingao, Junling Mingwang Temple in Changjiang, and more.
