San Mateo, CA – The Rotary Club of San Mateo, is a vibrant community service group in the mid-peninsula between San Francisco and the Silicon Valley. This club was established 100 years ago in 1924. With great dedication to providing humanitarian services, encouraging high ethical vocations, and building communities in over 160 countries worldwide, Rotary commemorates a century of dedicated service by welcoming you for their annual Rotary Club of San Mateo Fun Run event on October 20th, 2024.
Participants are encouraged to put on their favorite costumes. Whether a seasoned runner or a first-time participant, The Rotary Club of San Mateo’s Fun Run unites all students, children, and professionals for a meaningful day full of collaboration and physical achievement. Prizes for great costumes and more, The San Mateo Rotary Foundation continues their steady mission in raising funds to support community college and four-year college scholarships.
The Fun Run event kicks off with a Fun Run for kids, students, and adults. Participants choose from a 10k or 5k run/walk, gathering at 1901 J Hart Clinton Drive, with the Adult 10k or 5k walk/run at 9:00 AM, followed by the Kids, at 10 AM. The San Mateo Rotary Club is committed to inclusivity, welcoming all cultures, races, and creeds, while remaining nonpolitical and nonreligious.
This event goes beyond fun and fitness. It is an opportunity to support the Rotary’s incredible humanitarian services. Local businesses and individuals are strongly encouraged to become sponsors, who align their brands with the Rotary’s mission of service.
