Set in 1932, The Wilde Girls follows the misadventures of two spoiled New York heiresses, Tinsley and Mattie Wilde, whose fortunes are lost in the stock market crash. Suddenly stripped of their wealth and luxury, they find themselves unprepared and out of their element in the rugged wilderness of WashingtonState. With no survival skills to speak of, the sisters must navigate a series of dangerous and often absurd situations that push them far beyond their comfort zones.

The sneak peek teases key scenes from the film, including the sisters’ botched survival efforts, their comically tense encounters with a grouchy mountain man (played by New York’s favorite standup comic Teddy Smith), and moments of levity amidst the harsh and unforgiving natural landscape. The reel offers a glimpse of the humor and challenges that come when high society meets the pre-electrified wilderness.

Timothy Hines, known for Tomorrow’s Today and 10 Days in a Madhouse, brings his signature style to The Wilde Girls, infusing the historical setting with wit and lightheartedness. “The Great Depression has always intrigued me,” says Hines. “But with The Wilde Girls, I wanted to explore what happens when entitled, pampered individuals are forced into a survival situation. The result is a mix of comedy and real emotional depth.”
