How to monitor the environment of tea processing

In the tea processing industry, the detection of aflatoxin, humidity, air quality, aseptic conditions and other indicators in the tea processing workshop is an important link to ensure the quality and safety of tea. These tests are not only related to the sensory quality of tea, but also directly affect the health of consumers.

First, air quality

1. Infrared carbon dioxide sensor: can monitor the carbon dioxide content in the environment in real time. If the concentration of carbon dioxide is too high, it may mean poor ventilation.

2. Harmful gas sensor: such as detecting ammonia, sulfur dioxide and other harmful gases that may affect the quality of tea. Electrochemical sensors have better detection effect on these harmful gases.

3. Humidity sensor: For example, in the process of tea drying, the humidity sensor monitors the humidity change in real time to ensure that the tea is dried within the appropriate humidity range.

Recommended products:

Air quality multi-parameter monitor

The Air Quality Multi-parameter monitor can comprehensively detect a variety of gas components and air quality index. Some portable air quality detectors can simultaneously detect PM2.5, PM10, temperature and humidity, formaldehyde, TVOC (total volatile organic compounds) and other indicators.

In the need for long-term real-time monitoring, this equipment can be installed fixed air quality multi-parameter monitor, as shown in the following figure:

In places that are not suitable for installation or do not require long-term real-time monitoring, portable air quality multi-parameter detector can be used for regular detection, as shown below:

Second, the microbial aspect

Aseptic condition detection: By detecting the total number of colonies in the workshop, coliform and other microbial indicators, it can ensure that the tea processing process is not polluted by harmful microorganisms, and ensure the health and quality of tea.

Recommended products:

ATP bioluminescence detector: The use of ATP (adenosine triphosphate) and luciferase reaction to produce luminescence phenomenon to detect the presence of microorganisms. This method can quickly detect the relative content of microorganisms on the surface of tea processing equipment and in the air.

Three,Data sorting and analysis

1. Data collation

The collected dust concentration, harmful gas concentration and other air quality data are sorted and summarized according to the detection time, detection location, processing links and other factors.

2. Data analysis

The average air quality parameters of each testing period and processing link were calculated. For example, the average dust concentration and harmful gas concentration in the drying stage of a processing batch are calculated.

Test data are compared with relevant air quality standards or quality requirements of the tea processing industry. For example, check whether the dust concentration exceeds the specified limit value (such as the dust concentration limit in the air of the tea processing workshop is 10mg/m³), and whether the harmful gas concentration is within the safe range.

According to the data analysis results, the air quality status of tea processing equipment was evaluated. If some parameters are found to exceed the standard, analyze possible causes, such as poor sealing of processing equipment, ventilation system failure, etc.
