Fort Lauderdale, FL – October 08, 2024 – In a groundbreaking collaboration, Florida Atlantic University (FAU) has selected Dream 2 Lead (D2L) as the first-ever charity of choice to benefit from the university’s 50-50 raffle program. This marks a historic moment in FAU’s athletic legacy, with Dream 2 Lead serving as the official charity partner for the next three consecutive years. This partnership will extend across all FAU Division 1 sports, making a substantial impact on the university’s community and beyond.
The partnership, spearheaded by R.J. Martino, General Manager of Florida Atlantic Sports Properties, marks a pivotal moment for both FAU and Dream 2 Lead. “We are incredibly grateful for the collaboration and R.J. Martino’s efforts in putting this partnership together. Working directly with R.J. and his team has been key to making this partnership a great success,” said Telena Paris.
Through this partnership, Dream 2 Lead, led by Kristoffer Doura, Founder and President, and Telena Paris, CEO and Vice President, will engage FAU’s passionate fan base during home games, providing exciting opportunities for attendees to participate in the 50-50 raffle while supporting life-changing charitable initiatives. The funds raised will be directed toward empowering young people, especially underserved youth, through sports, entertainment, and STEAMS (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math, and Sports) educational initiatives.
As a power couple led by Christ, Kristoffer Doura and Telena Paris are committed to using their faith as a foundation for their leadership and vision. Kristoffer Doura, an ex-NFL player from the Miami Dolphins, with a heavy background in finance and financial planning, currently serves as the Vice President of Sports and Entertainment at Amerant Bank. His financial expertise has been instrumental in the organization, growth, and stability of Dream 2 Lead. Telena Paris also brings her extensive background in arts and entertainment, specifically in the areas of dance, music, and performance, coupled with her business management, consulting, and leadership expertise. Together, they drive Dream 2 Lead’s mission to inspire and serve, focusing on positively impacting the lives of young people and fostering leadership development through education and mentorship.

Fans will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing jackpot, with 50% of the proceeds going to one lucky winner and the other 50% being donated directly to Dream 2 Lead to support its mission.
