Gelato & Desserts, Inc. is issuing a voluntary recall of its Full Circle Market Coconutmilk Chocolate Almond Crunch Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert due to the presence of undeclared cashews, which are not listed on the ingredient label. Cashews are a common allergen, and consumers with sensitivities to cashews should avoid the product to prevent possible allergic reactions.
The affected product is sold in 1-pint paper cartons and can be identified by lot code 041624L2 and a best-before date of October 15, 2025. The UPC code for the product is 0 36800 46964 8.
Although there have been no reported illnesses related to the product, G.S. Gelato & Desserts, Inc. is taking proactive measures to ensure consumer safety by voluntarily recalling the item. This decision is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to quality control and transparency in food production.

The recalled product was distributed to Full Circle Market distribution centers in Georgia, Massachusetts, and New York, and has reached retail locations in New York, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Rhode Island between April 18 and July 11, 2024.
Consumers can verify if their product is part of the recall by checking the lot code, UPC, and best-by date. Anyone who has purchased the product is eligible for a full refund by returning it to the place of purchase.
