About the Author

Charlotte Krigbaum Tucker Rowlett has lived through many battles and many triumphs. After begging the Lord for children, for what seemed like a very long time, God blessed beyond measure. Be careful what you ask God for. He has no limits to His abilities. But it will be in His time and in his way. She learned that foster children need love just as much as her own. She wanted to have the same love and compassion that Ma did with children. As a mother of seven, Charlotte now has twenty grandchildren and one great-grandson. Music became a very important part of their lives.  As the children married and moved away, Charlotte opened a music store, hoping to keep all the grandchildren interested in music, if possible. Many hours were spent in that store with groups of people playing music or just visiting. It was a family store, and everyone was welcomed to play anything they wanted. Her grandchildren were often there to spend the days and learn anything they were interested in. It was a store, but it also felt like a home. She kept the store for many years and thankfully, several of the grandchildren play instruments and sing in churches and other places. Her son, Christopher taught guitar, mandolin, and banjo lessons there for years. It was a blessing to see so many interested in learning to play instruments. God always has something for all of us to do, if we are willing.
