Starr-Trynea Qe’Whann Reeves was born on January 9, 1986, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to Katherine Letreece Reeves and Eddie Scott, a singer in the 1970s. She began writing songs at age five and sang in church choirs at nineteen. However, she felt her voice was not suited for gospel music.
After collaborating with family members, Reeves submitted a demo to Tate Music Group, which led to the release of a Christian Hip-Hop Album on November 24, 2015. She co-founded 82-0 Starkat LLC with J.B Wright on February 27, 2020, to release her music. Reeves’ music is guided by her faith and a call from God.
Reeves’ modesty is genuinely welcome in the music industry, and as a result, we strongly think she’ll go far with her career. Her voice is velvety smooth with a distinctive edge. Despite her powerful voice, Reeves remains humble, attributing her success to her positive energy. She wrote and recorded her latest single, ‘Completely Complete,’ at her studio, a testament to her perseverance.
