The National Stop the Violence Campaign and Help S.A.V.E. America Invite Mayors, Cities, and Martial Arts Tournaments Across America to Address Crime Issues with Workshops, Seminars, and More

The newly launched Help S.A.V.E. America website sheds lights on staggering crime statistics and connects leaders with resources for strengthening their communities and reducing crime

The National Stop the Violence Campaign, an initiative led by Help Stand-Up Against Violence Everyone (S.A.V.E.) America, is inviting community leaders to prevent violence with awareness and education.

The premise of the National Stop the Violence Campaign is to equip everyday people with the tools and education they need to combat violence. Statistics clearly show that violent crime is still prevalent in communities across the United States. The National Stop the Violence Campaign wants to slow and stop violent crime by teaching people how to fight back through a variety of means that start by putting the power into the hands of communities. “We are a coalition of activists, educators, and citizens who safeguard our communities,” said a spokesperson for the initiative.

Mayors and cities can sign up to be added to the Help SAVE America national safety campaign, by which they will commit to providing education and resources in their communities.

Martial arts tournament promoters can also add their tournaments to the national campaign. In some cases, this can mean relocating a tournament for exclusive rights to the state’s national campaign. Tournament promoters will choose their unique logo from an inventory of specially-crafted logos to add their tournament to the campaign.

The campaign is currently accepting mentors, including black belt martial artists, whose role is to provide support for people being bullied. Anyone being bullied can now register online to have access to a mentor. Studies have shown that martial arts can reduce bullying and perhaps even crime, underscoring the importance of martial arts in communities across America.

“We will also be hosting an annual fundraiser called the Kiddie 500, which will be for children ages 3-8 years old,” said founder Dexter Kennedy.
