The summer camp is themed around the history of the “Flying Tigers”, offering a series of enriching activities designed to provide American youth with a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and to foster friendship with the Chinese people. Participants will visit and study in Beijing and Yunnan, experiencing traditional Chinese culture, observing China’s development, and engaging in interactions with Chinese people to collectively write a new chapter of Sino-American friendship.

At the opening ceremony, the participants expressed their anticipation and excitement for this journey to China. They expressed their intention to observe China with their own eyes, listen attentively to China with their own ears, explore China with their own steps, and experience the beauty and diversity of the country, thereby enhancing their knowledge and understanding of China.

The summer camp will last for 15 days, during which a variety of activities including educational tours, language interactions, cultural experiences, and artistic performances will be organized, allowing participants to fully appreciate Chinese culture. Additionally, Chinese youth will be invited to interact and communicate with the camp participants, sharing their respective cultures and lifestyles, fostering friendships, and promoting cooperation.
