New eBook Set to Become the Ultimate Free Resource for Overworked, First-Time Caregivers

NEW YORK, NY – Psychotherapist and mental health fitness coach Asha Tarry is tending to the needs of over-worked caregivers and how they can approach self-care with her latest eBook, The Caregivers Self-Care Manual: Essential Tips and Strategies for Caregivers to Adults Living with Dementia, Depression or another Mental Illness.

The e-book is ideal for first time caregivers who are thrust  into the role of having to care for a loved one. It includes implementable action steps in the form of journal prompts and covers topics from scheduling non-negotiable self-care dates to energy-saving tips. The prompts are meant to empower caregivers to prioritize their own well-being amidst the demands of caregiving.

Each chapter is intentionally brief to align with the average workload of a caregiver.

“Caregivers work and labor 50-70 hrs, per week,” says Tarry. “They don’t often have extra time to perform more work so each chapter gets right to the point.”

Through her company, Behavorial Health Consulting Services, Tarry hopes to make her company the go-to educational training resource for 1st-time caregivers in New York, as well as collaborate with healthcare companies, MDs, Social Workers, and other healthcare workers to make the eBook available to patients and their loved ones in waiting rooms and virtual mailboxes.
