FORT WAYNE, In. – March 18, 2024 – Stange Law Firm, PC is proud to announce that divorce and family law attorney Shawn Jarrett has joined the Fort Wayne, Indiana divorce attorneys as a Senior Associate Attorney in the firm’s Fort Wayne, IN family law office.
Ms. Jarrett attended the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2008. While in law school, she served as a member of the Law Student Division of the American Bar Association, a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Association, and as an Associate Member of the Mock Trial Board. Prior to studying law, Ms. Jarrett obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Business Communication from Concordia University in Fort Wayne. During her time in undergraduate school, she also served as the Campaign President for Toys for Tots. Ms. Jarrett is licensed and ready to serve clients in the state of Indiana.
Ms. Jarrett brings over 15 years of legal experience to her role at Stange Law Firm. Before joining our Fort Wayne, Indiana family lawyers, she most recently worked in private practice as a Defense Attorney for four years. In this role, she worked with cases involving CHINS defense, criminal defense, and adoptions. During this same time, Shawn also worked as an independently contracted Defense Attorney for the CHINS Division of the Public Defender’s Office in Fort Wayne. Shawn also previously worked for the Department of Child Services in Fort Wayne for eight years in various roles including Chief Counsel, Deputy Chief Counsel, and a Local Office Attorney.
