Dr. Douglas Reynolds has written three books that provides guidance for our Christian spiritual journey.
REDEEMED BY GOD – 1: Spiritual Life Principles Associated with God’s Word is written by Dr. Reynolds to help those who have entered a redeemed relationship with God through Jesus to spiritually grow and mature in this relationship.
REDEEMED BY GOD – 2: Salvation through Jesus, New World Order, and Time of the End is written by Dr. Reynolds to help those who have entered a redeemed relationship with God through Jesus to understand events recorded in Revelation and described by Old Testament prophets associated with the seven-year tribulation and return of Jesus. He describes the development and structure of a New World Order that will precede and facilitate the start of the tribulation that will occur during what the Bible calls the time of the end.
REDEEMED BY GOD – 3: God’s Redemption through Jesus and His Plan for Eternity is written by Dr. Reynolds for those who are being nudged by the Holy Spirit to enter a redeemed relationship with God through Jesus. He presents reasons for and encourages them to turn from their rebellion against God to embrace a redeemed relationship with Him through Jesus.
Dr. Reynolds covers all bases in REDEEMED BY GOD – 1. Related to our spiritual growth in our relationship with God through Jesus, and he helps us understand the role of the Holy Spirit in our relationship with Them. Dr. Reynolds draws attention to our redemption by and reconciliation to God through the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus. He presents the significance of God’s grace and our response to His grace through our faith in Jesus. Dr. Reynolds describes the nature of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the attributes of His character, and he addresses the character of Satan and the nature of sin. He presents our creation as spirit, soul and body and addresses spiritual warfare and the definitions and development of spiritual gifts given to us by the Holy Spirit we use in this warfare. Dr. Reynolds discusses prayer, loving and forgiving others, spiritual healing, the role of suffering in our life, Christian attitude toward money management, the structure and role of the family as created by God and affirmed by Jesus, and the role of the church as the body of Christ in the world.
Dr. Reynolds delves into Christian escapology in REDEEMED BY GOD – 2. He addresses the invasion of Israel by Russia and its allies before the start of the seven-year tribulation recorded in Ezekiel and events that will occur during the tribulation recorded in Revelation and Daniel. They include three sets of seven judgements God will execute on the people of earth, the rise to power of the Antichrist, and the establishment of a ten-kingdom federation that will assist him in his global dictatorship during the tribulation. Dr. Reynolds addresses the invasion of Israel by Gentiles, the abomination of desolation, and the removal of Christians from earth at the rapture, all occurring before and during the middle of the tribulation. He addresses the war between the Antichrist and Christians who enter a redeemed relationship with God after the rapture that will occur during the great tribulation and result in the massacre of multitudes of Christians. Dr. Reynolds addresses the marriage of Jesus and His Church in heaven at the end of the tribulation and the return of Jesus to engage the kings of earth at the battle of Armageddon. He presents Jesus’ establishment of His 1,000 year kingdom on earth after he defeats the kings of earth at this battle.
Dr. Reynolds addresses the passing away of the existing heaven and earth that have been corrupted by sin at the end of Jesus’ 1,000 year kingdom before the great white throne judgement described in Revelation. He indicates Jesus will be the judge at this judgment, describes Jesus’ criteria for our judgement, and indicates God will create a new heaven and earth after this judgement. There will be no sin in the new heaven and on the new earth God will create. God indicates in Revelation the righteous will live on the new earth with Him forever, and Jesus indicates they will have immortal bodies on the new earth.
Dr. Reynolds states the growth of evil in the world will result in cultural conflicts and the transformation of the family structure away from what God created and Jesus affirmed it to be. He identifies secret societies and global non-government organizations that are facilitating an increase in the severity of these conflicts and transformation that will lead to the formation of a New World Order that will precede and facilitate the start of the tribulation.
Dr. Reynolds addresses in REDEEMED BY GOD – 3. The eternal nature and character of God as Father, Son and Holy Spirit and the redemption He extends to us through Jesus. He presents our creation as spirit, soul and body. Dr. Reynolds encourages those who initially resist the Holy Spirit by exposing the nature and consequences of sin in their lives and opens their eyes to what awaits them after they enter a redeemed relationship with God through Jesus.
Dr. Reynolds presents Jesus’ criteria for judgement, the judgement of the unrighteous and righteous, and the examination of the lives of the righteous by Jesus on the last day. He encourages us to build our lives on the foundation of Jesus. Dr. Reynolds describes the book of life and the lake of fire. He indicates Jesus will separate the righteous and unrighteous when He returns. The righteous whose names are written in the book of life will be rewarded and received into His presence, while the unrighteous whose names are not written in the book of life will be judged and separated from Him in the lake of fire.
Dr. Reynolds addresses the passing away of the existing heaven and earth that have been corrupted by sin at the end of Jesus’ 1,000 year kingdom before the great white throne judgement described in Revelation. He indicates Jesus will be the judge at this judgment and God will create a new heaven and earth after this judgement. There will be no sin in the new heave and on the new earth. God indicates in Revelation the new heaven will be on the new earth because He will be there, and Jesus indicates will live on the new earth with God in immortal bodies forever.
