Gear up for MechWest: animated wild west saga launches Kickstarter to fuel episode 2

MechWest, the captivating animated YouTube series set in an alternate Wild West world filled with robots, has announced the launch of its Kickstarter campaign to fund Episode 2.

Crafted by industry professionals and AnimSchool graduates, MechWest offers a blend of captivating storytelling and top-tier animation akin to beloved classics like Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Dragon Prince. With robots roaming the Wild West, MechWest promises a unique twist on familiar terrain, delivering film-quality animation at a fraction of the cost.

“We aimed to create a series that transcends age barriers, offering compelling characters, gripping plots, and breathtaking animation that resonate with both kids and adults alike,” – MechWest.

The narrative follows Pearl West, a compassionate teenager forming an extraordinary bond with a mech named Six. Together with her brother Pico and the resourceful salesman Casey, Pearl embarks on a frontier journey to safeguard Six and untangle the enigmatic mysteries surrounding him. Across vibrant towns spanning four distinct nations, they encounter diverse cultures and confront unforeseen challenges.

Jean-Luc Delhougne, Animation Supervisor for Season 1, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support garnered on social media, with millions of views and glowing reviews. Now, with the Kickstarter campaign for Episode 2, MechWest invites fans to partake in the journey, shaping the series’ evolution.

Backers of the MechWest Kickstarter campaign stand to enjoy exclusive perks tailored to their pledged amount, ranging from downloadable wallpapers and early episode access to limited edition merchandise and behind-the-scenes insights. Higher-tier rewards offer unique experiences, including custom artwork, associate producer credits, and the coveted opportunity to lend their voice to a character in the show.

“As we embark on this thrilling endeavor to fund Episode 2 of MechWest, we extend a heartfelt invitation to fans, supporters, and backers to join us in crafting the series’ future,” added Dave Gallagher. “Together, we can breathe life into this captivating world and create something truly extraordinary.”

MechWest Episode 1 is slated for release in February 2024, with plans for up to six seasons of six to eight episodes each. By backing the Kickstarter campaign, fans can expedite the journey to bring the remainder of Season 1 to screens.
