With only 30,000 original miles on the odometer, this survivor was purchased from the granddaughter of the original owner and had always been meticulously garage-kept in a temperature-controlled environment.
Nathan Hale, the visionary behind Hales Speed Shop and a celebrated hot rod builder, took on the challenge of transforming this BelAir into a masterpiece. Stripping the car down to its body, while preserving the original General Motors design, Hale meticulously adjusted its stance and performance. The result was a custom air ride chassis with modern suspension components and a potent 500-horsepower fuel-injected LS series motor. In addition to enhanced performance, the car received modern comfort upgrades, including Vintage Air A/C & Heat, electric wipers, and a JL Audio stereo system. To ensure both style and substance, 18″ custom Coys wheels with one-off molded Nitto white wall performance tires were added.
