Luanda, Angola – The Popular Movement for the Liberation of Angola (MPLA), the ruling party in Angola, led by businessman and MPLA Committee Member Bento dos Santos Kangamba, has demonstrated its commitment to improving the lives of the Angolan people by making a generous donation of essential supplies to the Santa-Paciência neighborhood in Zango district.
The Santa-Paciência neighborhood, located in the Zango district of the municipality of Viana, is home to approximately ten thousand people who face severe challenges such as lack of access to clean water, schools, and electricity. Recognizing the pressing needs of this community, Kangamba, accompanied by the district administrator of Zango and a delegation of party members, visited Santa-Paciência to listen to the concerns of the community and offer assistance.
As part of the MPLA’s efforts to provide relief to the community, 25 tanks of clean water were delivered to Santa-Paciência to address the immediate need for access to safe drinking water. Additionally, hundreds of basic food baskets were distributed to families to help alleviate food insecurity in the area. A health fair was also set up at the location, where specialist doctors provided medical care to approximately 500 people, addressing their health needs.
Kangamba pledged to bring the concerns of Santa-Paciência to the attention of the Central Government and assured the community that the MPLA will work closely with the Provincial Government of Luanda to address the difficulties faced by the residents. He reiterated the party’s commitment to improving the lives of the Angolan people, especially those in disadvantaged communities.

Our donation of essential supplies to the Santa-Paciência neighborhood is a testament to our unwavering commitment to improving the lives of the Angolan people,” said Kangamba.
