Life can be cruel, depending on one’s standing in society, and women are known to face the brunt of societal stereotyping; especially black women. Many succumb to these destructive messages because they were never taught how to cultivate an unbreakable spirit. These debilitating ideas are passed down from mother to daughter for generations—a curse that keeps some women stuck in a vicious cycle of self-hate and stagnation. It’s never easy to break free but an experienced life coach can help these women pivot from the negativity, both in life and their careers, and find their true purpose.
Lenora Lassiter’s goal is for women of all races, cultures, or socio-economic backgrounds is to know that they are deserving of whatever they seek and that the world is not against them. She wants to inspire women to recognize their career goals and purpose in life, no matter the obstacles. Lenora encourages women to be proud of who they are and not allow their existence to be as trivialized based on their color or gender.
An ardent youth advocate and “pivot coach”, Lenora has arranged countless sessions in her house with young ladies urging them to explore chances and experiences for personal growth and encouraging her mentees to be distinct and stand apart from the “ordinary”. Many of her mentees are now capable and confident women who have graduated from college and are thriving in their employment.
Women both young and old need a Coach to hold them accountable, provide guidance, and enforce the desired transformation they require. Lenora has a proven track record as a Certified Professional Life Coach (Pivot Coach), Career Coach, Certified Professional Resume Writer, Author, and Professional Speaker. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Fayetteville State University and a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. She was a Chancellor Scholar at Fayetteville State University and earned Magna Cum Laude from both universities.
