In the new award winning critically acclaimed new comedy movie Tomorrow’s Today, Annunziato Carbone plays Tommy G., a man obsessed with Tom Hardy. At one point he declares, “I’m the American Tom Hardy”, to which his rascal buddy Charlie (Greg Kritikos) replies, “America doesn’t need an American Tom Hardy. Besides, Tom Hardy speaks English and you can barely speak english. The moment captures the grifters contentious, argumentative relationship. Tommy G eats, sleeps and lives Tom Hardy, constantly telling anyone who will listen what Tom Hardy has for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

So no doubt the character would be thrilled to learn that actor, Tom Hardy surprised a group of martial artists in England after he secretly entered a Jiu-Jitsu competition last weekend, proving the Oscar nominated star, 45, is not just a tough guy, but also an accomplished blue belt in the self-defense discipline, not only participated in the 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship but took home the gold. Meanwhile, the self appointed, “American Tom Hardy” in Tomorrow’s day may not make as many good choices as the actual Tom hardy, for most of his life he has been a grifter. The movie is about the lovable Tommy G. and his friend’s Charlie, along with their buddy “Shakes”, (Dave Morrissey Jr., rob a liquor store to pay a gambling debt to a vicious mob boss, only to find out the liquor store they rob is owned by the mobster. This feel good comedy of the year is now streaming world wide on Amazon Prime, Plex, Fox’s Tubi TV, AppleTV, Momentu and more.
