NEW ZEALAND VISA FOR CANADIAN CITIZENS

Canadian citizens can avoid the need for a New Zealand visa by applying to the New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA). This is done online and takes a few minutes. Each country has its own policy, and that policy often includes a list of visa-exempt countries. New Zealand is no different, and according to its visa policy, Canada is one of many countries whose citizens do not need to apply for a visa. However, this only applies if Canadians do not want to stay longer than 3 months in New Zealand. If they wish, they must apply for a visa.

Hong Kong is one of 60 countries whose citizens can travel to New Zealand without having to apply for a New Zealand visa. The NZeTA can be used for tourism, business and transit. Hong Kong citizens with a visa exemption can stay in New Zealand for up to 3 months at a time. The New Zealand Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) for Hong Kong citizens is a digital visa waiver. New Zealand visa Requirements for Citizens of Hong Kong

Since July 2019, Japanese citizens need an eTA for New Zealand. Obtaining a New Zealand visa from Japan is not optional, but is a mandatory requirement for all Japanese citizens travelling to the country for short stays. All visa-exempt citizens must apply for a New Zealand eTA prior to departure. Japanese citizens require a New Zealand visa for stays up to 90 days. Japanese passport holders can use the New Zealand Travel Electronic Authority (NZeTA) to enter New Zealand without obtaining a New Zealand visa from Japan under the Visa Waiver Scheme introduced in 2009.

Mexican passport holders can enter New Zealand without obtaining a New Zealand visa from Mexico through the New Zealand Travel Electronic Authority (NZeTA) for a period of 90 days under the Visa Waiver Scheme, which began in 2009 Mexico is not optional but is a mandatory requirement for all Mexican citizens travelling to the country for short stays. The NZeTA was introduced to improve national and cross-border security.

New Zealand Visa document requirements for citizens of Mexico

  • Passport – you cannot apply for a Mexico tourist card unless you have a valid passport. Plus, according to Mexico’s visa policy, the travel document has to remain valid for at least another 6 months from your arrival.
  • E-mail address – when you apply online for your tourist card, you will receive the document via e-mail in PDF format. It would be best if you printed it out before you leave.
  • Means of payment –  You can use a credit or debit cards, but you can also use PayPal.
