A New Paradigm for Protection of Ownership of NFT and Digital Content

The NFT market has been rapidly growing in recent years. However, with the growth of the NFT market, problems have also arisen. Some NFTs create copyright trouble by using artworks stolen from artists, or famous works that the NFT creators have no connection with and no license to use from. Although NFTs can be recognized for their ownership as unique virtual assets, protecting the copyright of NFT’s original digital content is still challenging. A situation in which copyright is not protected can discourage creators’ motivation to create an art piece, and if the copyright issues are not resolved, it may have a negative impact on the NFT market.

The NFT copyright issue arose in February of this year. There was an incident where NFT Pepe, which produced using the world’s most famous frog character, ‘Sad Frog Pepe’, without the consent of the original author, was discontinued sales at the request of the original author, Matt Furie.

However, NFT Pepe has discontinued after more than 1,000 NFTs have been sold.

The NTP project was created to solve copyright infringement in the NFT market and provide a blockchain-based protocol system that allows creators to track, manage, and protect their own NFT and digital content.

NTP aims to build its own NFT market system to activate the digital content ecosystem and provide environments that users can trust and make the best of the service in the NFT market.

By building a platform that integrates the NTP system to the NFT marketplace, users can safely use the marketplace. In addition, NTP plans to form an ecosystem of a next generation NFT market place where NTP Token can be used.
