Adoboloco is soon to be the name on every food connoisseur’s lips. This family-run sauce retailer has come a long way from its humble beginnings 11 years ago in Maui, opening a brand new production site in Bend, Oregon. The new location will be the home to specific sauces using ingredients from the area such as Marionberry, a perfect match for the flavors of the Pacific Northwest. While up until now the company has been one of the United States’ best-kept culinary secrets, we have a feeling this is about to change with their upcoming appearance on the First We Feast Youtube show Hot Ones.
Hot Ones has had incredible success during its 18 seasons thanks to its entertaining combination of tasty food and informal celebrity interviews. Stars as diverse as Gordon Ramsay, Michael B. Jordan, Charlize Theron, Alton Brown have appeared on the show, which has garnered an impressive 11.2m subscribers to date. This season includes the return of Post Malone, who was initially featured in Season Two and Millie Bobby Brown. New guests are announce each week prior to the new episode airing every Thursday 11am EST.
The Adoboloco hot sauce used on the Hot Ones show displays many of the traits Adoboloco has been known for. Its ingredients are of the highest quality, the sauces are handcrafted in small batches for a unique taste, and most importantly for the Parsons family, the ingredients are LOCALLY SOURCED from the surrounding areas to introduce the fine, gourmet tastes of Pacific Northwest and Hawaiian cuisine to a wider audience. The bespoke sauce featured on the hit show was made in conjunction with their friends at Heatonist.com, who are also partnered with Hot Ones to source the best small-batch hot sauces the world has to offer.
The result of Adoboloco’s collaboration with Heatonist.com is ISLAND WINGS: a sweet, mild cayenne pepper-based sauce with roasted pineapple undertones that was designed with adventurous foodies in mind.
Now that the business has ventured into Oregon, you can be sure of some area-specific sauces on the horizon for fans of spicy, fiery goodness. Adoboloco has plans to launch two new sauces directly from their Oregon production site: Marionberry Splash, a sauce that uses the distinct flavors of the Oregon Marionberry to enhance the flavors of meat, fish, and even deli sandwiches – and TACO!TACOH! – a delicious taco sauce that is versatile and vegan! With a hint of real hardwood smoke from our house smoked and ground Spanish Paprika.
