They are committed to providing a safe, collaborative, productive, and fun working environment for everybody who works with them.
As Occupational Therapists, their goal is to help the participants achieve theirs. They support them in finding ways to enhance their day-to-day life and social connectivity. They can help them make changes to their homes to move around with greater ease and prescribe assistive technology or devices. They can offer support if diagnosed with mental illness or Autism Spectrum Disorder to help them meaningfully engage with activities that matter most.
They work with participants aged 6 and 65 and their families and carers, providing tailored Occupational Therapy to support them at home, at work, and out in the community.
Better Rehab’s experienced Occupational Therapists support children to develop the necessary skills to participate meaningfully in everyday activities. They empower carers to provide support to encourage their child’s independence. They address the challenges of children’s sensory, motor, academic, and socio-emotional development. They will work closely with the parent, carer, or guardian to set meaningful goals and create a plan that will utilize the child’s strengths and support them in overcoming the barriers they face in daily life.
