TariaJaybre comes from a very musical family and sings Gospel, Christian Contemporary Christian Rock, and Pop and has been singing since the age of 3. She is from Waterloo Iowa, born and raised. As a youth singing in her church choir under the direction of her mother Tara. She learned many skills and tips when it came to singing, song writing, and performing. Heavily exposed to music in her home and even had her first professional recording experiences before age 13. TariaJaybre was a part of many musicals throughout junior high and high school, being part of a Concert Choir and Jazz Choir and was a part of duos and small groups that won Division 1 State Competition ratings. Being raised in the church TariaJaybre has a close relationship with Christ but it took her having a very personal encounter with him in her adult years to truly understand how much her faith had carried her through.
In 2013 TariaJaybre’s mother convinced her to join a Gospel group that she had put together. Her mother had already recruited her older sister so it didn’t take much convincing to get TariaJaybre on board. After a couple years of singing, performing, and recording with the group “Power of Praise”, TariaJaybre realized that music was really what she wanted to do, and released her album for the world to hear. The response to the messages in her songs has been so encouraging and TariaJaybre is humbled by every experience that has come her way.
