Increased interest in one of the must-read science fiction novels of 2022, The Möbius Syndrome Trilogy, by Amanda Quintenz-Fiedler

Amanda Quintenz-Fiedler, prolific author of several books, recently saw an uptick in interest in her fiction series The Möbius Syndrome Trilogy. Fans of the series will be delighted to know that Book 3, Solution, is due to be released around June 2022.

The trilogy kicks off with Book 1, Catalyst. Taylor is still reeling from the sadness of losing her sister in a car accident. No more dinners with friends, afternoon gardening, or partying. But it doesn’t stop there. Taylor begins to experience dangerous medical episodes that confine her to the hospital, with no end in sight.

When the doctors can’t seem to help her, Taylor is determined to solve her own problems. She discovers a new ability to effect change while experiencing her episodes. The doctors tell her that she’s hallucinating and that she can’t possibly change anything that has happened – or can she?

In Book 2, Reaction, fans are taken through an emotional roller coaster. Taylor learns more about her ability but also starts to see that every action leads to consequences. “It’s a bit meta to use this example, but imagine a minor car accident. If, for some reason, one of the cars broke down that morning then that car wouldn’t even be involved in the accident. What would happen to the other car though? Would the other car have gone on with life unobstructed and potentially not miss that important business meeting? Or could that car have gone on to be involved in a more serious accident because it didn’t have to stop?” explains Quintenz-Fiedler, when probed about the story.

While the author remains tight-lipped about the actual story and ending, she goes on to describe her motivation to write and how she wants to inspire people to think. In this trilogy, Quintenz-Fiedler showcases how a patient is met with disbelief from medical doctors. In our daily lives, many people are facing an alternate scenario. Imagine a corporate setting where ideas and suggestions from junior staff are simply dismissed on the basis of ‘lack of experience’. Being trapped in situations where no one believes in you can slowly diminish a person and, over time, lead to acceptance of the situation.

The Möbius Syndrome Trilogy is currently available for sale on Amazon.
